I'm thinking the first weekend in August. How about you guys? I would shoot for the second week, but that's when the Gaston County Jamboree is. Plus, I'm planning a beach trip at some point in July for a weekend. Just throwing something out there.

I might be at a a wedding on the 24th at 5:30. Does the 31st sound good to anyone? Or I guess we could meet at 7:00 or 7:30 if we do it that night. I haven't quite decided what my plans were for that day yet.

that would be my 1st choice....i have eaten at the one off south blvd a few times when i could get in, the place stays very busy, awesome brisket and sides, the regular ribs were a little chewy

Yea I am not big on their ribs. Their pulled pork is pretty good though. I've eaten at S. Blvd and Sandy Porter locations. Sandy Porter is the newest one. They also have a location near lake norman somewhere. Never been there.
Best ribs around are Big Bob Gibson's!
