I notice on the brackets there are eight mountain area football teams going to the third round:  Asheville, Hendersonville, Mountain Heritage, Pisgah, Reynolds, Robbinsville, Swain County, and Tuscola.  From four confernces, two teams are represented from  each:  Appalachian Athletic Conference, Mountain Athletic Conference, Western Highlands Conference and the Smoky Mountain Conference.  It has been about four years since any mountain team has played in the championship game.  These teams mostly represent the 1A and 2A level of football.  But, it is interesting to see these many teams from one area make it to the later rounds.

Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is a mystery.
But, God gave us Today,
that is why it is called the "Present".
